- Initial Evaluation
- Together with the physician and rehabilitation specialists, we assess the total individual in terms of function, cosmesis, and comfort.
- Custom Design and Fitting
- Each prosthesis or orthosis is designed for the specific patient through the use of casts, measurements, and working models.
- First Fitting and Alignment
- Our specialists ensure that socket shape meets maximal fit and comfort specifications. Alignment is adjusted to individual gait and balance.
- Final Fitting
- Following a complete check of the prosthesis or orthosis, the patient is instructed in its use and care.
- Ongoing follow-ups and personal care are critical.
- Patients are checked periodically to ensure continuing fit, alignment, function, as activity increases.
- Hospital Calls and Home Visits
- We do make hospital calls.
- For our patients with transportation problems, we can schedule home visits.
